I'm a man so I'll answer it from a man's perspective. Don't think that every woman who flirts with a man is successful or even catches his eye. Women (like men), who try TOO hard come off as desperate and weird.
This woman in Starbucks obviously has problems. It seems clear that your husband didn't care about her flirting, he probably did notice but ignored her, as a good man with a wife and kids should.
Think about this: If some guy flirts with you in front of your husband, would you want your husband to hit him or would you rather know that you husband feels confident enough about himself and your relationship so he knows that you'll just totally dismiss the other guy? It works the other way too.
Confidence is attractive and sexy. Hitting people shows insecurity and is potentially costly.

You're being way to "adult" about this when clearly she is not, and neither is your husband for that matter, particularly if he is responding to her messages when you are not around. Let's face it, it can be quite flattering to the ego when some "sweet young thing" is being flirtatious and when the ego rules, anything can happen. What would your husband do if the situation were reversed? I bet he wouldn't be sitting idly by while some "sweet young man" was doing the same thing to you! He would confront him wouldn't he and tell him in no uncertain terms to back off? Sometimes, escalating the problem is necessary for some people to get the message. I would wait until he gets another txt, take the phone and storm her home. In front of everyone I would confront her and tell her in no uncertain terms that her behavior is unacceptable and you won't put up with it any longer. Tell her she either gets her act together or you and your husband will not be attending future family gatherings while she is present. When she claims innocence, show her the phone and tell her that texting your husband is not innocent and it won't be tolerated. Then walk out with your head held high! Yes, it will be awkward around the family for a little while after this but deep down, I bet they (and your husband) will respect you for standing up for yourself and protecting your marriage. It shows everyone that you think your marriage is worth fighting for.

I agree with you 100%. I see alot of that too. I wonder sometimes what is wrong with some women. I would never do that to another woman. In fact I have been in situations where someones husband is doing that to me with his wife and kids right there. I say things like how disgusting or I'm glad I'm not married to a pig like you. But not all females respect other females lik they should. HAPPY NEW YEAR

yes kitty your abosultley right lots of bitches out there who dont' care if your with someone or not. Thank goodness your husband had the right senses you say you dont' think he notice im sure he did and he just pretended for your sake good for him. Most men are weak and don't see that in women. but its horrible when such loose women do these things. They can't find there own and they prey on yours.
Be happy you have a good man and he knows the difference many woouldn't and fall into the trap.

That woman wasn't with her parents, she was a foreign spy in training and those were her tutors. She was trying to mata hari your husband, but his intense training (as a government agent)overcame his natural desire, and he stayed with you.
In future, be wary of women with buns.
And flirt with your husband when these bun laden women are around!

I have been there.I have actually had a girl walk up to my hubby and bump into me trying to get close to him and introduce herself.I try to blow people like that off.But I have been known to call them out about them selves. You can't let it bother you.She isn't worth the time and energy you have spent worrying about it.If it happens again and it bothers you that much say something to the next girl.

there are alot of mean women out there, but your husband didn't even notice or look at her, so don't pay attention to it. instead focus on your life and marriage, forget that woman she isn't important if u don't make her important.

your hubby didn't even notice, and didn't flirt back? you have nothing at all to worry about hon. what she did was tasteless and rude - but she was a stranger in a cafe, so don't let it upset you.
