I celebrated here in the US tonight by talking to my girl in Brisbane! Because of the 15 hour time difference, we actually talked twice! When it was New Year's for her and then again when it was for me! Happy New Year to you to!

I was there, and I thought it was great! I love playing soccer, but often it can be boring to watch, I find it exciting to watch a high scoring game, I don't know how seriously any of the boys were taking the match, there were some shocking passes from Becks, from some of the Sydney boys and especially from the galaxy, but there was good stuff also - Beckham's goal was worth the price of admission alone (my ticket was free!). I think they need to market the game more, and last night might have helped a teeny tiny bit!
