The best way is to find a personal trainer for exercise and nutrition. My Dad is 52 and started working out with a personal trainer earlier this Fall, he has already lost 40 pounds. Now, he doesn't want to bulk up like Sly but he is getting in great shape. The trainer sees him every 4 weeks to see his progress and to mix up the routine for the best benefits. This way you are not spending as much on the trainer. It is not too late, Good Luck!

try going to the gym like 3 times a week and get a non-expensive trainer that can help u , eat ure vitamins, walk around the neighborhood for a little while everyday if possible but don't take drugs-it won't help..............
