i am american and my love of my life is sri lankan and he left 5months ago
i do not want anyone else only him
he has 2 children by his ex wife and he is with his children he calls me every couple of days and sais everything will be ok
can u tell me what can i say or do to make him want to come to me and how can i make him see i will be best friends and a greate person for his sons please help me he is my life my world and i need to know how to get him back

You have not mentioned your age, that of the guy or his sons. I believe there is no issue with his sons and they have been taken in to confidence regarding your marriage. Let me tell you, in South Asia, it is important to have a man-woman relation by way of marriage. This not only sanctifies the relationship, the relatives also accept you more promptly and that too in a respectable manner. There could be two options:
If he is not in a mood to come and settle down in US, you shall have to go to Sri Lanka and share the rest of life with him in that country. This would require you to adjust to a new aset of life & culture. You shall have to accept the family as a part of the package of relationships.
If he gets back to states, you may have to admit his family in US. But this is even better a proposition because, you shall be in familiar atmosphere & surroundings.
Most importantly, you shall have to discuss the matter. GOOD LUCK.

When I was a child , I used to blow bubbles with soap water.Once in a while , I will get a nice large bubble which would shine and glitter with changing colours.I wanted to keep it with me for ever.
However it would be gone in seconds.I will miss it and wish that it was back.There was pain of loss.
Later I learnt that you can have another one - a better one if I tried making another one. I did it for some time.So try for another bubble.
However may be you have already guessed correctly my chain of thought... Give up this game and move ahead towards the main purpose of your life.

I don't think you can do it since you are poles apart, both physically and literally. He belongs to the 'use and throw' brigade and is in Sri Lanka happy with his family, whereas you belong to the 'platonic love' brigade and is in America, lonely and desolate.
Get over it baby and snap all ties with him, immediately. Move on in life and you will find numerous other good men in America.

I guess you provided what he wanted when he was in USA and now he has gone back to his loved ones, I suggest that you do the same and move on.
There is no way you can force him back, if he wanted you or loved you, he would have never left you.

You can't make him do anything. If he wants to be with you, he will come of his own free will. If he doesn't come, there is nothing you can do about it. Next time he calls, you should ask him what his future plans are. That way you'll know if you're wasting your time waiting for him.

Let him come back to you on his own if he doesn't he never belonged to U if he does he really loves you. There is no way you can force him back to U.
