"Super Size Me"

It has no gore and blood, but it is the scariest film I have ever seen.

Rutger Hauer in the hitchhiking movie The Hitcher from 1986. I never picked up a hitchhiker again after seeing that movie ever. He probably saved my life by making that movie, too. Thanks, Rutger.

There appears to be a remake being shown now, but it won't have the same impact on me like the original. Whew! That original movie freaked me out bad.

The Haunting of Hill House is another longtime favorite. Read the backstory about it before viewing the movie to understand the character's view point better. I've seen it at various times of my life. It goes from being a scary movie when I first saw it as a child to understanding the fear of the main character as I grow older.

The Descent: That movie freaked me out BEFORE the creatures showed up. Totally claustrophobic, the movie goes deep into primal fears and emotions, plus plenty of gore.

Blood and gore have nothing to do with scary.

right now i would go with the saw movies as they are very original and the things they do to people in these movies is just a mind F**K and imagian if you were placed in one of his games...But my all time fav horror movie has to be the texas chainsaw massacre or halloween they are just horror classics that everyone should have seen and will scare ya pretty good..

I liked 13 ghosts because it had a plot and I like the scooby doo actor that played shaggy too... Whats his name?

I also like Silent Hill... It really made me think about life and religion and stayed with me for a few hours... Most movies just leave when they are done, this disturbed me....

I DO NOT recommend The Wicker man... It was completely stupid and I wish I could sue for the 1 hour and 45 minutes of my life back that I lost watching it.

The Grudge,it wasn't the best movie I've seen but it gives an unforgettable impact.
Demons is also a good gruesome movie

The original Dawn of the Dead. I had never seen dead people eating live people. That movie was the BOMB.... You gotta see it . I am a horror movie freak. Took my wife to see it scared her socks off. Well that movie cost me $50.00. After the movie I had to take her to eat at her favorite movie because she was pissed.

Nightmare on Elm St. Part 1

It's the only horror film that can actually scare me, even years later!! Makes you not want to ever fall asleep!!

I have a lot of favorites but one that stands out for me is "White Zombie." I love Bela Lugosi.
