If you have the choice take the honda. If it is used. go get the oil change ASAP and start running synthetic oils in the engine and get platinum plugs installed. If it is new it might have these plugs already. But even if it is new dump the factory oil ASAP. The honda is a work horse if you take care of it you will have a long history with your new car. Volks wagons are cutey cars but from exp only past customers of mine they are garbage cars after about 25k miles now I am sure there are people that love them but what ever I have never owned one only have owrked on them. Honda is safest and will last you a long time.

Honda hands down. VW's are a pain in the ****. Most of them also now REQUIRE synthetic oil which is much more expensive thant he dino oil you can use in a Honda.
