I want to buy a laptop
purpose : home use , business use
i dont need any graphics card ( no gaming ) or high end system.
i want to use this laptop for daily activities.
but laptop must carry * irda,bluetooth * along with other normal features.
BUDGET : 50,000 Rs
please suggest me couple of popular models which would satisfy my above criteria.

I have browsed the offcila sites.
but they does not reveal the prices properly.
If anybody have the pricelist ,please provide me.
my primary target is : HP, ACER, COMPAQ
could you please tell me the model numbers which could fit in my budget and then i shall look for the specification.
Alternatively,
If you know the customer care /sales email id of these companies , please let me know so that i can communicate and get the details.
unfortunately ,the web sites are not well organised and hence i am facing trouble.

Dell, Inspiron Series are the best, I've got 3 of them.

You will not find Bluetooth standard in most laptops though iRDA will be. My choices in order
IBM R52 or any of the T series (The T40 should fit your budget)
HP/Compaq (these and the IBM come with good additional windows functions for self-healing)
Acer
Sony Vaio is not worth the price.

I think that irda (infrared) is not easily available on laptops now a days. But bluetooth is popular. you can try SONY VAIO or COMPAQ PRESARIO.
