Word of advice for younger people. As you get older you may figure out that getting hammered on New Years Eve is a waste of time. It is possible to go out and still have a few brain cells left for the rest of the year. I always stay home on New Years and I don't use alcohol at all. The best party of all is when you feel good in the morning.

Yes, I'll be completely honest. No, I'm not drunk yet. I haven't had anything alcoholic to drink.

I can be honest with you now as a sober man.
Drunkedness is an intimacy killer. Keeps people at a distance, in a smokescreen. Why? Diminished responsibility absolves all personal integrity.
Would you prefer me to be without integrity? How could you trust me to be honest with you then?
