do anyone kno if there are any hamster breeders in newjersey?

my child really wants one and i heard u shouldn't go to pet stores. plz help!

Pet stores are perfectly fine to go to, I'de suggest getting a younger hamster it will be more comfortable or even if they dont have young hamsters go through the cage and find one that is comfortable in your hands and not one that is scared basically.
If you are not comfortable going to a petstore i would look in your local news paper classifieds.
