if you waited for 2 hours for someone to show up, then when he finally showed up and asked "what time is it?", your reply was "it's late" ?

I dont think its rude, the person could have given you a headds up. Dont let this get in the way of a good time and a Happy new Year! you got 20 minutes left.

No, it's not rude to say that but it IS rude to show up 2 hours late. At least the person who came late should give a heads up and an explanation on why he/she came late so the person waiting doesn't get uneasy, you know what I mean?
