Toll for Americans in Iraq Hits 3,000

The U.S. military announced Sunday the deaths of two soldiers, raising the number of Americans who have died in the Iraq war to at least 3,000, a somber milestone in the 46-month-old conflict.

Well, I was never willing to tolerate his lies. He has taken away constitutional freedoms and has grossly taken his and his family's power for granted. He has used fear and lies to persuade the general public and has proven more and more that he is essentially the same as the "bad guys" he is supposed to be fighting.
... But I'm kind of tired of people complaining about him with no intention to change the situation.

The American government exploits the American people and so the number of American casualties means nothing to them. All they are, are numbers.

3000 is not a small number. That toooooo for nothing... Its time for Bush and his regime to tell the profits what we have got from this war? If Alexander have conquered the world, he clearly stated his wish and went on to the battle. Let Bust also, say so and go to the battle field in Iraq. In that, way he may become a hero in the history of the world like (Alexander the Great). Otherwise, there is no difference between him and the vilain in the superman movies.

The lies are lies...... but the whole world is noticing..... and slowly (I think) over the next 100 years, Government will become less hostile. THEY MUST NOT KILL INNOCENT CIVILIANS.
There will always be problems with governing to maintain civilized society without a BIG BROTHER is watching approach,
but we cant watch one man ordering the murder of thousands.
I wish I were there... because behind the lies there is a good reason for being there... trying to find and kill some very very nasty bad people

President Bush has done an amazing job even though the Democrats are complete hypocrits. Enjoy the video. Democrats lied, soldiers died. Clinton administration passed on horrible intelligence, but it doesn't matter. Bush said he didn't want the first 2000 to die in vain, so 1000 more had to die in vain? Why don't we start a pool for the day when another 1000 die in vain and the total equals the number Bush didn't want to die in vain for a grand total of 4000. Bush is a coprophagous nudibranch.

I would hope not- as Americans we need to stand together and voice our opinions to let the President know we are not happy with this situation, if we continue to let the government get away with things the American public is not happy with then they will continue to take away our freedoms,,,, "by the people for the people" is loosing it's power!!!!

So 3000 brave American solders have given their lives to free an oppressed people, an entire nation. They fought valiantly to stop mad men like Saddam and his murderous henchmen. They fought and died to afford people in a far off land with the hopes of securing for those people the same liberties that you possess and take for granted. Shame on you!

i just hope people open their eyes and see what bush is doing! Gosh i hope people realize! 2007 has to be and WILL be a new year where people will have to stand up! SO much for freedom of speech if we dont do anything ...Hoorah for 2007!

Dear Lord! I support our troops 100%...but the reasons that they are over there are suspect. I think Bush should be impeached. God Speed to all of our soldiers and their families.

I wouldnt of voted for his *** in the first place, people messed up when they put him back in office anyway. alot of people voted for him cause he was against gay marriage and hes christian. But if people knew he messed us around the first 4 years why put him back in that position to mess us around for another 4 years?
