Well perhaps my thoughts are stupid to some of you, but I bleed RED as do we all. I have no issues befriending, loving and existing with others that are not of my exact shade/culture/what have you...

We are educated generations, and I see tons of filth spewed from the mouths of us, and those younger, and younger and younger....

Whatever happened to being equals? I dont care what happened 50 -1000 years ago... I like people for who they are and their soul..

Speak for brotherhood and sisterhood!!!!

It shouldn't matter, but sadly to some ignorant people it does. People should be viewed for who they are inside not for what color of skin they were born into.

But just because someone is educated does not mean they have social grace, compassion and common sense.

I feel the media is to blame for alot of it.Geraldo Rivera claims to hate racism but made a living exploiting it for years. The news will twist any story into a racial issue just to boost ratings. No matter how much you try to dodge it its always gonna be shoved in your face.Equality is not news worthy.

i agree all the way. i dont see why anyone would have to be judged by the color of their skin are where they come from.when i look at someone i see them as a person and that is all. i was raised that way and thats the way i will always believe.then people wonder why there is so much trouble in the world. pretty obvious i think.

To me race should not matter.. what should matter is culture.. so maybe people being racist not because of their skin color but because of their culture...

It's really hard to adapt to each culture.. so that's why people make a big deal out of it..

Unfortunately it is a human trait - "I" versus "other", "us" versus "them". Sometimes the distinctions between "us" and "them" are so minor as to astonish those who are not caught up in the belief system.

Survival of the fittest - part of our animal nature. Maybe one day we will grow beyond that and embrace our spiritual nature as well.
