A friend is one who comes to you, when all others leave. A friend is someone who knows all about you...and still likes you ! Also, watch how THAT persons friends treat you. If he/she speaks good of you, you will see it by the way their "other" friends are towards you. My best friend has been my best friend for almost 30 yrs !

I think a true friend is someone who you feel like you can trust with almost anything. Someone who you want to be there by your side when troubles come along and want to be there for them too. Someone who you know cares about you and someone you know would have your back when worst comes to worst. If someone isnt your true friend then they wouldnt listen when you need to talk and would bail on you when you need them the most.
A true friend is the one you KNOW will be there when everyone else has left your side....
And if you find a friend like this...you better make sure you keep him/her...because there aren't many of them at all...

Wow, this answer should be easy for me because I have had a lot of experience in the field of not being a true friend. A friend is someone who cares, someone who is thoughtfu, full of laughs. and excitement. A friend is someone who is by your side thru the good times, the bad times, the easy times, and the hard times. A friend is someone who is understanding of your feelings and needs and do their damnest to respect your wishes. A friend is someone you can trust and be honest with. A friend is someone who sees you for you and what you can give and not what they want or want you to be. To me those are all definitions of a friend. But the definition of a true friend is someone who forgives you after you have failed to be a friend to them. A true friend is someone who is there for you even after you have back stabbed them and sunk to your lowest. A true friend is someone that doesn't throw away their morals just because you did!!!! all friends may not be like this but mine is. my friend Justine is a true Friend. how i can tell is i told her a dark secret and for about 4 years she did not tell anyone. she also said that if some one would come up and threaten to kill her if she does not tell them my secret she'll say you will have to kill me first before i tell you or anyone. that's a true friend to me.

a true friend will bail u out of jail in the middle of the night. A true friend will try and make u laugh when u cry. A true friend will be mean to your man when he hurts your feelings. A true friend is always there for you. Thanks Rox, J, and pixie for being my TRUE FRIENDS

a true friend is a person who tells you everything your doing wrong.When your friend go's to your house and takes things out the fridge,use the phone, and do what they want without asking.
i my opinion thats a rel friend.

She listens to you, keeps your secrets. She's there for you when you need help. She's always got your back, sticks up for you. She never looks twice at your boyfriend, cause she knows boyfriends and brothers are off limits.
