Everyone would have the same number of points and same record.
And yes, there could be coin tosses -- the coin toss is listed as an official tie breaker, although that would be as a LAST resort as you would first go by which team scored the most touchdowns first.
Below is from the NFL site for tiebreakers:
Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head, if applicable. 2. Best won-lost percentage in games played within the conference. 3. Best won-lost percentage in common games, minimum of four. 4. Strength of victory. 5. Strength of schedule. 6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best net points in conference games. 9. Best net points in all games. 10. Best net touchdowns in all games. 11. Coin toss.

The division winner would be decided by tiebreakers. There's strength of schedule, head to head matchups, division record. All of those would also be a tie. I think one of the tiebeakers is points scored, so the highest scoring teams would go to the playoffs. If all the tiebreakers ended up in a tie (I think there are 7 or 8 of them) then it would come down to a coin flip. But there's about a 1 in a zillion chance of that happening.

Yes NFL games can end in a tie ... there is only one 15-minute overtime period in a regular season game, so ties happen when neither teams scores. (Playoff games cannot end in a tie of course).
The last tie was in 2002 -- they showed that stat during the Broncos/49ers game ... which came pretty close to ending in a tie.

No. Things like that don't really catch on in the United States. Even the thunder sticks they had at the World Series in Anaheim several years ago didn't really catch on anywhere else. People at football games like to yell and scream, not toot little plastic horns. I would also think the NFL officials would find them very annoying and order teams to ban them from games after a while, just like they would probably take referee whistles away from the fans if they started blowing them during game play.

Millions of jocks and bookies and sports fan would lose a ton of money and there'd probably be a few riots after the first week or two of tied games.

if everyone had the same record then it would go to point differential(your points scored minus your points allowed). whoever would have the largest point differential would go to the playoffs along with the five other playoff spots.
