What cabinet? Kitchen/food odor. Bathroom or hamper/musty odor. Febreze works great for ALL odors. If it's not the kitchen cabinets you could put a fabric softener sheet in there too. I use the fab sheets for my dresser drawers. OH I almost forgot. I moved into a house many years ago that had rotten potato odor in the cabinet. My neighbor told me to put a can of opened coffee in the smelly cabinet, with the door closed over night. I did and it worked!

Try putting a small bowl of white vinegar in the cabinet for a couple of days. It usually works well. If the odor is really seeped into the wood, though, it'll just come back. First, try washing the inside of the cabinets REALLY well.

forget baking soda, febreze only cover the odor for a short while but this idea really works. Take ground coffee and put in a thin sock, place in the cabinet, close the door and leave all day or over night depending on how strong the odor is. Normally it doesnt take long, the coffee absorbs the odor. work great for freezer, refrigerators and stinky shoes too.
good luck.

put a couple of open boxes of baking soda inside the cabinets. Also, you can try wiping them out with bleach water.

I'd probably use some orange oil and wipe it down . Like weekly. Til the smell goes away. Then you'll have the smell of oranges every time you open the doors!

If you want urban legends, conjecture, and folk remedies, do not give us any details. If you want real answers, you need to give some information. Your choice.
