No it just means you are upset with the flu.
Now have a hot tottie and start the new year with no worries of the old one.
Here is a poem for you: it is 1017 at my house so i have not changed the almost yet..LOL
2007 is almost here.
A new year is coming to make a new start.
Hold on to your dreams,
And let nightmares go,
For they will lead you to no where,
Unfold your arms and uncross your legs,
Get on your feet and get ready to go.
Hold out your arms and Open your heart,
A New Year approach to a brand new start,
Uncover your eyes so you may see,
2007 was sent by thee.

I have decided after spending every holiday this season in a quiet hospital room with my brother, that these are just dates like every other. Having the flu on New Years is unfortunate. Did you have big plans? Well, I propose that you celebrate in a couple days, to your health, and be thankful you can fall ill because it can only mean you are alive. CHEERS!

Well, in my neck of the woods, New Years EVe is still 2 hours and 14 minutes away. But, no I don't think it is a bad way to start the new year.

I dont think its a bad sign for hte new year, I really hope not. I also had the stomach flu. could barely stand up for days because of the weakness. don't think that htis is a "sign" thats reading into it too much. rather think of adverse experiences as thigns that make you stronger.

no its a sign to realize this material world is a bad deal and we should take every effort to realize our eternal relationship with the Supreme Soul also known as Krishna, Allah, Vishnu, Jehovah, etc. WE are not these bodies we are eternal spirit souls part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. go to krishnacultue. for details on the purpose of human life. No, the new year is not here and this is the 21st century; we need to be way past signs and portents.
