one of my friends told me that there is a certain program that lets you convert owned DVD's into videos that can be watched on the video IPOD. is that true? and if so, what program? please be specific. also, does it work for tv episodes? like ones that you buy per season..can you convert those too??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! thanks...=]

step 1.
go to this web address (do not include the spaces):

and download the xilisoft software.

step 2.
install it on your computer.

step 3.
unlock the program by opening it, going to the help tab and entering the following registration code (do not include the spaces):

step 4.
to add a dvd, insert the dvd into your computer (you must have a dvd-rom drive on your computer to put dvds on your ipod)

on the xilisoft application, select profile and select the appropriate ipod.

click on the dvd button on the xilisoft screen and select your dvd drive as the source.
or for a video on your computer select the appropriate file you wish to convert.

step 7.
select the destination by picking which folder you would like to save the video to.

I HAVE NOW TRIED IT AND IT WORKS i did it right from a copyrighted dvd(arnt they all that we bought) and i can get everythinkg i could get on the dvd player bloopers deleted scenes and even the commercials(who like commercials sercioustly)

there is no program, that can do that except itunes but you have to buy them from the itunes store. when you install the program on your computer.
