No, it isn't lame. As long as you are sitting around in the place you want to be, eating the crackers and cheese you like (smoked Gouda?), and reading several good books that you like. May I suggest a bottle of Champagne to go along with the crackers?

Ha ha..I'm doing the same thing except there are pringles in the bowl. I don't think it's lame. Is there any law that says you must go out and party on New Years Eve? It's whatever interests you and what you want to do...If you want to read go ahead! Who's stopping you? And if you want to be in a 'New Years' mood and have nothing planned, sit back and enjoy the New Years Eve Bashes that they have on TV! Hope you enjoy your New Years!
