They took this type of biopsy from my left breast one week ago and just when the pain was almost gone, it started hurting a lot again (maybe because i sleep face down), is it normal for healing to last this long?

They shouldn't take that long to heal at all. You should have minimal pain after the procedure. Watch for redness, swelling, and even more increased pain that doesn't go away. Go back to the doctor if this happens, you could have an infection.

It shouldn't take that long for the pain to go away. I had one done 3 years ago and the pain was gone in a couple of days. I would see a doctor. You may have an infection.

I had this done too. It hurt for a few days. I took tylenol and used ice packs for swelling. Dont sleep on your stomach for a while. Its an injured area, and you are just irritating it by sleeping that way. If it doesn't stop hurting, or gets red, swollen or have discharge, then I would call your doc and ask to be seen.

I havn't had it done on my breast but had it done on a cricket ball size tumor in my salivary gland. The biopsy was done from within side my mouth it was a bit sore for a couple of days and then I was fine.

I had a fine needle done and had no pain at all. There was some bruising but no pain. Maybe you should give your Dr a call.
