There is a fundamental problems with the concept of goths being devil worshipers. Goths, not including the annoying Hot Topic teen wannabe goths, understand and accept that there is a lot of pain in the world. They are sensitive to this fact and certainly don't want more pain in the world or in their lives. The concept of Satanism is that bad is good, and pain is a positive. Therefore, if goths were Satanists, they would be creating more pain for themselves, which they don't. Therefore, it is illogical that real goths are devil worshipers. Most are agnostic, Christian, or atheist, but no real goths are Satanists.

i knew a guy who was wrongly accused of something at a young age. He was tormented for it he found that dressing gothic (in a very small town in the south where this is obviously not common) freaked people out and kept them at bay. He was no olnger tormented by those people because they assumed he was a devil worshiper and were scared of him

Gothic is just a trend you can be Gothic and Christians or whatever religion.

i guess some do. its not like devil worship is a requirement to be goth but its mostly for the shock factor. its tied to the music.
as for how do they act? they act just like everyone else. they arent from mars, its okay to talk to the goth kid next door.
