something draining the battery, trunk light, etc. just pull the pos. or neg. cable off at night and your battery should be good to go in the morning if you can't find the drain problem.

Check the tension on your alternator belt. If it's slipping at all, then the battery is getting just enough juice to run lights or give it a tough start, but it isn't getting charged enough to keep it full.
Just taking a shot on this because I had that happen to me with my Mustang. Everything checked out good, but the new belt has stretched a little and I hadn't tightened it. Then it would run for a while and slowly die. Nearly drove me insane.

anything electrical can be draining your battery. what you need to do is disconnect your negative battery cable and install a 12 volt test light in between your battery and your cable. if it lights up you have a draw, make sure key is off and doors are shut.now go threw your fuise panel and remove fuses one at a time until draw goes away. now you know what circuit has the draw check the items for that fuse circuit.if the draw does not go away by doing this it might be your altenator causing draw remove main battery wire from back of altenator see if draw goes away

Lights use a lot of power. Do not leave them on with the engine not running. Your battery is old. It may still be holding a charge but it's current probably has diminished. You will need to replace it in a while. You got 9 years service from it and that's a lot.

Even though you had the alternator checked, it could still be bad. I would hook up a light in series with the main batt. cable and start pulling fuses. When the light goes out...you've found the drain. If you can't get the light to light...use an ammeter. Good luck.

Sounds like since the alternator and battery are OK, that there's an electrical short somewhere in the system.

Check the light in your trunk. We had this problem and found out that the light in the trunk wasn't going off so it was draining the battery (who would have thought??). Unscrew the lightbulb if you have to and see if it helps.

You have something on despite the switch being off. A low grade short. A hood or trunk light?
