It depends on what you want to do with it. The PS3 seems to be geared towards the harder core power gamers. The Wii seems to be geared towards trying to draw in people who might not have liked games before. The PS3 basically is taking what's available in the existing technologies to the elite / next generation level. The Wii seems to be trying a whole different approach to gaming, thus appealing to a wider variety of people, going after potential new gamers. It seems to me that they're aiming for different markets, and each game system is better in its own slot.

It depends on the person playing the game. the PS3 is generally more popular than the Wii but it's all a matter of personal opinion. You can't tell which you think is better until you've played it.

In my opinion, the PS3 is better.
I simply like the wide variety of rpgs and the larger game selection from them.
But if you have a family or low on cash, I would say the wii is better, it will have more family in mind games and has a cool remote =)

Of course not, the wii is barely even a console, more of a toy really. The ps3 is a true system that you can appreciate for it's graphics and games whereas the wii you get to swing your arms around like a baboon.........not much of an argument if you ask me...which you did

From what I understand, it depends on the individual player's preferences in games. Certain types of games are better on PS3 and others are better on Wii, so it depends on what kind of games the player intends to play.

if you like to move and stuff then the wii is for u but if u like hi-def blue-ray stuff ps3 is a callin

it depends on your preference. if you want a system that everybody in your family can enjoy, the wii is better. if you want nextgen gaming
and have the money go for the ps3.
