I'm 16. My parents are worried that I'll get killed or something. LOL! I'd be going with at least one friend. Would it be safe or whatever?

Having been to Slayer over a dozen times in the last 20 years, here's the scoop:
- Go. They are great live. They are still one of the heaviest shows you can see. Period.
- Stay out of the pit and away from the edge of the pit unless you are familiar with serious pit action. A Slayer pit normally consists of older dudes and bigger dudes than many pits - usually hammered and ready to bang some heads.
- Being 16, you have the right idea: Go with your friend and stay together.
- Don't get all hammered (drunk or anything else) there. That's what will get you jacked up at 16.
- Have a good time with one of the best metal bands on the planet.

I absolutely love Slayer, and am safe to be around. Ive never gone to one, but have seen videos of one. I gotta be honest and tell you that Slayer fans are the craziest and pretty psycho. the damn fans take slayer too seriously to realize that Slayer is a satirical band that points out how stupid people/human beings are.
i would not go to slayer. mature band with not so mature fans.
ive been to system of a down, evanescence, rage against the machine-----all these bands are mature and expect the same maturity from their fans. the fans respect that.

My friend went to slayer concert. And i have been to a couple of rock concerts myself. They are safe as long as you stick with you friend and most important stay away from the mosh pit.........

Just stay away from the mosh pits. Slayer show's mosh pits...are...fun but...dangerous lol.

Moshing is very dangerous. They stomp and punch and sometimes bring weapons. It's soo much fun though!! You're young, you'll have a great time!!

I really dont think so...Cause they are big and there are crazy fans out there.But I would still go .
