It's a unique stunt which seems like it would sting. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being no pain, 10 being the worst pain) how much would this hurt and why?

Depends on how good the guy's abs really are. Prob about a 5 or 6.
Interesting trivia- Houdini eventually died from internal abdominal injuries sustained when someone punched him viciously before he had a chance to 'tense up'. (He used to invite people to slug him as hard as they could; this 'slugger' didn't realize there was a 'trick' to it.)
