yes a friend is someone there when you are down when you are high when your sad and happy get the drift..... a friend is someone who will aid and support you in all tasks you incounter in on your life....and yes you can do wrong to a FRIEND and if they still there they are TRUE but dont misunderstand this information as for you to do your friend wrong so many times you are not TRUE to them nor a GOOD friend so ask yourself this when will they ask the same question you have just asked....
my advise is hold loved ones and friends close to you your enemies closer and never toy with friendships as once they are lost its hard to come by another one as FRIENDS are one in a blue MOON

It takes 3 seconds to say "I love you". It takes 1 second to say "I do". The lifetime isn't to "prove" anything, it's to live the love you've developed with your partner. "Proof" comes every time you say I love you. It comes every time you acknowledge a birthday, or anniversary, or other day that is important to your spouse. It comes every time you're where you said you'd be so your spouse doesn't have to worry or become suspicious. It comes every morning you wake up and the first thing you see is your spouse, and you rejoice at this simple pleasure. Love doesn't take a lifetime to prove, you get to live your love for a lifetime by a lifetime of simple actions that all say I love you to your best friend.

I class a true friend as someone who is there through all the rubbish times but also wants you there through there tough times too.
I've had a really crap year and I would class the people that helped me through as true friends rather than the people who ignored what was happening.

i'd have to say you can only trust a few cuz others seem trustworthy yet end up stabbing you in the back. only a few are totally and completely devoted to the friendship and ya that person is a true friend because they're forgiving

Yes it is. You don't always have to wait a lifetime to make a true friend either.

We need to meet different people to learn about how to deal with different promblems. After a while you learn almost everything we need to learn and a friendship becomes easy. I hope that makes sense.
