I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and though I know its far too early to tell whether the baby will be a boy or a girl, I was wondering when others found out the sex of their baby.

I found out with both of my kids at 20 weeks. That is the earliest that I have heard of anyone finding the gender. Before that, I don't think that the fetus is big enough to see yet. Congradulations on your pregnancy and good luck. I know having too wait sucks...but when you see the us..it is well worth it!

Most places won't even do the ultrasound until 20 weeks. This is normally the earliest that you will be able to find out what you are having. I found out last week that I am having twin girls. I was just barely 20 and they were able to tell. Best of luck!!

I believe I found out at 20 weeks. From what I understand, if you try to tell before 18 - 20 weeks, the results can be inaccurate. The longer you wait, the easier it is to tell because the baby is bigger.

they useually do a ultrasound at or around week 20 and can tell the sex then if the baby is sitting right.
they also have a new blood test out where the expecting mom can prick her finger and they can tell what the baby will be by finding certin hormones in the moms blood (as soon as she knows shes pregnant) i've heard it costs about $75. resurch it online to find out more and to order the kit. i found an artical about it in a baby mag.

i found out when i was 24 weeks. it depends on how the baby is positioned during your ultrasound, but most of the time you can't get an accurate answer until you are atleast 20 weeks.

i found out i was having a girl at 17 weeks...it was my early christmas present. that's about the earliest i know of. congrats though!!

it is so hard to wait but at 19 to 20 weeks . i have 2 more weeks than i can go find out and i am on pins and needles .. good luck either way we with love them which ever way it turns out
