Yup. Just make sure you change out your tampon often enough. It would only leak if you don't.

Hi, I remember worrying about this when I was young. The coolest thing about swimming with a tampon in is that even if you slightly leaked, or there was blood on the string or on your bathing suit bottoms, the cold water and chlorine keep it washed away. You know, cold water washes out blood, that sort of thing. That's IF an unfortunate accident were to occur while you were swimming - and I'm just talking about a little spotting, not a flood. But just to be sure, put in a larger size tampon just before you swim.

Yes you should be fine to go swimming. Just make sure you have a tampon inserted. if you are having a heavy flow then wear a larger one to make sure that you don't leak!!

Yes, and that's the best part of using tampons.
You'll be able to tell as you use different ones for different time because everyone is different. Always go by your own system, and it changes from time to time, and each day as you get used to your own system, you can tell.
I had different ones for the beginning, mid term, and ending, which was based on individual needs, on different days.
When swimming, just remember to change much more often.
GOD bless.

You can still go swimming if you wear a tampon and take cramp pills, otherwise you'll get the WORST craps.

You'll be fine as long as you change it regularly...
tampons are designed for swimmers and people that are very active.
