Well this is no time to be beating yourself up! Unfortunately too many people equate New Years with some kind of magic dust that transforms us from our everyday selves to the party animals of the century. Thats why bartenders call it "amateur night".

New Year's eve isn't a real holiday....its a great day off from work in the middle of winter and all it really does is mark the passing of time. For you, a whole new year to make some real friends and have your own party next year. Even one or two close friends can make a night special, more-so than standing with a bunch of drunk, naked strangers who'd just as soon puke on you as look as you. Life should'nt be a popularity contenst, if one person really likes you, your doing okay. Have a Happy and get off the computer, go make some friends! :)

R u sure all ur friends have been invited to parties? Next Year host a bash or better yet get with four or five others and plan to attend a event. New York is not the only party central. Even amusement parks host New Years Eve parties... Walt Disney World is an amazing place to ring in the New Year.

Does your friends know that u want to go out on New Years Eve? New Years Eve doesn't have to be wild to have fun. Good food, good atmosphere and alittle space can turn into great times, new hopes, well wishes.

Why do you need to go to a party just because it's New Year's? Who cares, spend the time at home and enjoy that. Maybe it's a good thing that you haven't been invited anywhere.

If it makes you feel any better the ones I got invited to are private parties at clubs AKA you gotta pay $10-20 to get in and buy your own drinks (or get a guy to buy for you)... so which is worse?
