I had sex 5 months ago unprotected but I had normal periods since and even took a HPT 1 month after the incident and have felt toatlly normal since but want reassurance before I go party tonight (new years lots of alcohol lol).
WOULD I KNOW AFTER MONTHS IF I WAS KNOCKED UP. THANKS

I seriously doubt you're pregnant. You would be having physical signs and feel fetal movement by now. Always use protection!!!

It might make you feel better to take one more real quick HPT before you go out tonight. But there is almost no chance you are pregnant if you've had normal periods for five months. Also, there are a lot of other symptoms of pregnancy like breast tenderness and enlargement, occasional nausea, frequent urination, etc., that you would surely have noticed by now. But hey, use protection.

A period is the shedding of the uterine lining in which a fertilized ovum would have grown. A fertilized egg chemically signals the period NOT to occur, so that pregnancy can proceed. 5 normal periods proves that a fertilized egg has not been developing in your uterus. However, it does not prove either way if a fertilized egg is growing somewhere else, such as in your fallopian tube or your abdominal cavity. This is unlikely, but I don't have statistics. Do you want to avoid drinking tonight to avoid fetal damage or are you considering playing roulette again(pregnancy or disease)?

After five months, you'd feel the baby kicking by now, even if you weren't beginning to show. You'd also have had serious abdominal cramps and any number of other symptoms. I sincerely doubt you're pregnant.

If you have been having normal periods since than you should be fine. Just remember if you get crazy tonight, put a hoody on the woody

if youre have regular periods then youre not pregnant.
