Because Yahoo Answers is the place to ask questions no matter how crazy. Besides you have the added bonus of getting answers from people you don't know. Because most times if you ask people who you know they may try to answer just to let you feel good/bad and their response may not be truthful or whatever. And its also fun asking questions to see what other people think.

Well, at first it is curiosity. The same reason you came on here....to see what is happening. Then it gets addicting. People have a question, and need it answered. Then you can answer other peoples question. It becomes a competition who can get best answer! Who can win!
Sad but true, I am a victim of this madness!

Probably because it's a really good way to get a lot of opinions on just about anything, in a very short time.
You have to be careful, though - on things that have a right or wrong answer, there are a lot of wrong ones from people who think they know, but don't.

no the question is why do so many people give bad answers- if ur not an expert in styling u shouldn't answer- oh yeah i almost forgot people get so sensitive- they want to respect peoples opinions but like i stated before fashion is more than an opinion that's why there are stylists , specialized sales people and experts in fashion fields but hey it's all in fun , right??!!

because there are so many lonly people out there that have no life and this is an easy way to comunicate with others that you do not know but have the same problems.
and I like to share my knowlage in this forum.

some people are really bored and have no outlets, and some people are really boring, and this gives them an outlet,and then there are some people, who have lives that permit them to do little else,there are a number and varity of reasons,(when i see myself on here, i want to leave,maybe give away my laptop and cell phone,my apt, and sleep on the river

becuz u get answers from people u dont know so it doesnt matter what they say {{if they judge or anything}} and its easier than consulting someone u know if its really bad or hard
