I've bough a pair of Lip Service "Stretch F****** Jeans" and although they are pretty tight brand new, I want them to be SKIN tight - I haven't washed them at all yet. All the posts at the moment are divided - half say HOT water then HOT drier, the other half say COLD water and leave to dry. CONFUSED!!!! HELP!!!!

As long as it has a material like cotton in it (which real jeans do), it will shrink in HOT water with a HOT drying cycle. Cold water and air drying prevents shrinking and fading. Also, wash them inside out if you are going to use hot water to preserve the colour.

If you really want them skin tight then wash them in hot water, rinse in hot and put them on. The best fitting jeans are dried to the wearers body.
Don't want to walk around in wet jeans all day. Get together with some friends and hair dryers. Could be fun!

I always by my jeans one side bigger. I wash them the way I want with warm or cold water. I dry them the same way, with hot circle in the dryer or air dry. It always fit me. I don’t spend that much times on worry about how my jean go to do to me. It would giving me good service for awhile. I don’t think you need to go through all the trouble with any jean. I think jean is design to get beat up, so it would look cool when you put it on.

hot dryer sweetheart. Hot wash will just fade them ,not shrink. Good luck!Next time, don't get stretch. Stretch jeans stretch really quick while you're wearing them. In an hour, I need a belt! At least get2% or less stretch.

it isn't the water that shrinks them so much, It is the heat from the drier. I like mine tight too wash them in hot, then dry them hot as possible. even run them longer than they need in the drier, but not too long, don't want to start a fire..lol

I am a science geek incase you need reference. and I am 31 years old.

Hot water always shrinks and hot dryer is even better, then hope you can get into them. Might have to buy again tom. I'd do one and try them and then the other to make sure you don't make them too small.
