Yes, many times. Either an open flame, burners, camp fires, ironing or steam which I think is the worst. I usually run my burned area under cold water or immediately put butter on to prevent blistering. Sometimes even a little burn can hurt a lot but it will heal in the long run. You can also put neosporin ointment on to prevent infections. Good Luck and Good Health.

This happened years ago, when I was about 7 years old. My aunt was cooking and she just removed the pot from the stove and put it on the counter. I was talking to her and placed my arm on the counter, pressing against the pot. A few seconds later, i realized the pot was hot.. and now I have a small burnt mark on my arm. I was so dumb, i can't believe I didn't feel it.

My cousin also burnt the back of my neck from curling my hair. It didn't leave a pernament mark. Thank goodness!

What is a "burt"? Are you new to the English language? What remote foreign country are you from?

We always hurt ourselves, by accident of course, but people hurt themselves because they aren't careful and take things less serious then they should.
Low self-esteem can also contribute in hurting ourselves because we hurt ourselves emotionally and spiritually.
But sometimes it's good to hurt ourselves because this way we can learn about the good and bad things of life and what we should do to avoid getting hurt in the future.

Ok, well obviously the Bert (for the record people, I think that's how his name was spelled) & Ernie jokes have been done... Obviously a typo (people are allowed to make mistakes, we are human after all!) but hence the confusion because you may have meant burnt & forgot the n. If this is the case then yes I've burnt myself with hot steam before (man it hurt!) Or you may have meant hurt (b is just below h on the keyboard so you may have slipped). Yes I've hurt myself emotionally many times. I'm my own worst enemy.

Since I have answered both questions, just in case & since I have been so polite & thorough I think that I deserve best answer!

Tee hee
Just kidding!
(well, not really)
Cheers!
