If your talking about the cards found in cameras and phones etc, most of the newer models have some limited memory stick slots.
I found it easier to buy a usb card reader rather then rely on the laptop to have the function for the amount you would use it, and the great variety of cards around.

Most new laptops have memory card slots, particularly those sold as multimedia laptops.
The difference seems to be the tpes of card supported, we recntly bought two laptops mine only supports 3 types while my sisters supports 5 (think its 5)

As far as I know, you can use a memory stick with any laptop (any computer) that has a USB port--that's just about everything that's not ancient!

compaq, Advent, toshibia sony, they all have Universal serial bus (USB) slots, for memory sticks, if you mean card readers, a lot of laptops do now, though i don't recomend it, normally u pay more for it a lot more, just get a USB card reader!
