Just be yourself. If she likes you, she'll be interested in who you are, not who you portray yourself to be. Bottom line is, when you go into a relaitonship or friendship pretending to be someone you're really not or putting it on thick, eventuall the truth will come out over time so just be yourself because that's the person she'll get to know anyway in time. The first impression may have not been a good one. If your lucky, you'll get a second chance.

Well, this is a very common case; even I experienced it. I used to be a very introverted person; rarely talks; never participated in class discussions; and worse, I did not treat this girl I like as a special person simply because for the past THREE years, I did not realize my feeling for her!

I began treating her nice for the past year, but it is rather late because I had not been making a good impression of myself!!!

I understand.

Now, what you have to do is to change yourself; be mature. Regard it as the priority for your new year resolution, alright? Be friendly with her; get her phone number and text her as often as you can; calling her might be a bit too extreme..; offer your help as often as possible; make yourself stand out among the crowd and smile at her whenever you see her.

That is all I have to advise you and remember, you are not alone. A lot of people experience this, my friend.

Good luck

Making excuses, while lame, may be able to save you from this one. Just inadvertently blame something else while admitting you were immature. "Sorry I act a little immature around my friends/when I drink..." whatever the circumstances were.

Or you can go for the excuse she will really love to hear if she's into you: "sometimes I act a little silly around a girl i want to impress/think is cute.." she will like the compliment and you will get out of your bad first impression.

After that, strive to be mature and composed and don't worry about it! First impressions may be remembered for a long time but you can definatly change her mind and let her see the real you. She will forget all about the one mistake you made!

Good Luck!

I Think you just need to be very honest with her. Tell her that you know you made a fool out of yourself, and you regret it. You would like a chance to make a second impression and make it up to her. Tell her you like her so much that you didn't know how to act, and the way you acted was completely idiotic.

BEST THING TO DO: just be completely honest about it, and ask her to be friends.

First impressions can be hard to break/change. You have your work cut out for you. Just approach her & apologize for making a bad impression & try to convince her that you've matured. Don't push it though. If you're too aggressive you may just scare her off. Just be kind & subtle & hope she'll come around.

Good luck.

well you could apologize for acting immature and tell her you were just in a goofy mood that day. or don't say anything and just be yourself around her next time.

When you see her next, apologize for your previous behavior. Then act like you normally would.

There's always a second chance. Call her and have her see the real you.
