those are just contractions in your uterus. it's beginning to stretch and prepare itself for labor. you will feel those throughout your pregnancy, because the uterus is a muscle and to prepare for the strenuous activities it will soon endure it has to stretch and "work out" just like any other muscle, to stay strong. as long as you don't have a lot of them in one hour you should be fine. if you have more than 6 in a hour and they begin to get painful, you may want to call your doctor and ask her about it. It's probably nothing serious but, that's what I've been told as a precaution.

It is probably just the ligaments in your belly strething. I know they can hurt like heck..but they usually go away before too long. It could also be the baby starting to move. If it is your first, than you may not know what to look for or notice when the baby starts to move. If you are not bleeding than you are most likely OK, but...if you are at all worried go and see your ob/gyn. You know better than anyone if there may be a problem. Congradulations and Good Luck :)

You have to remember there is this creature inside of you, first, it wants to move, so it is going to poke and prod its way around, sometimes causing you pain. Also, as you probably have noticed, your body is expanding to acomidate the baby inside of you, and eventually ligaments and muscles are going to need to be stretched. Hope this helps!! Happy New Year!!

It could be your uterus stretching if it continues it could be signs of preterm labor (don't want to scare you) drink 16oz of water and lay on your left side. If you have any other signs like the pains don't go away when you change position or drink water, a change in discharge or bleeding call your doctor. I'm a high risk pregnancy (multiples)

Probably round ligament pain. The ligament holding your uterus in place are getting stretched. I had them all the time when I was pregnant.

You could be feeling the baby move or the ligaments stretching to make room for the baby. I sometimes get those kinds of feelings around the time that i usually get my period.

When I felt things like that, it was usually Reanna poking me w/ her fist, although your ligaments stretch a great deal during this time as well.
