I liked "secret window" with Johnny Depp and John Turturro. I really liked the short story and I thought Turturro was a perfect choice for the creepy dude. I thought it was a great twist. The movie itself wasn't that great but most of King's adaptions aren't good on the screen. Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me are exceptions to the rule. My favorite book(s) by King are the entire Dark Tower series. Those would make good movies if it were possible to do.

Shawshank Redemption, Dolores Claiborne, Children of the Corn, and The Shining.

I like Shawshank Redemption cause I like Morgan Freeman and I like prison movies and this one has such a good plot and Andy kicks butt at the end! Dolores Claiborne is awesome cause she don't let a man f*** with her! She does what she has to do to that child molester! The last 2... well I just love horror movies! Children of the corn... eh evil children give me the creeps! and The Shining... well I'm into ghosts and that kind of stuff! Lol. I love getting scared :)

I don't think I could pick just one just like I couldn't pick just one book. But three that top the list are The Stand, The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.....All were well written and followed the books pretty well. Theyre amazing stories too, not his typical horror. Cry everytime I see the end of Mile or Shawshank.

it is a confusing one. i think of my well-liked e book could be the final e book on the nighttimes Tower sequence, no longer because of the fact it is the perfect of his books, yet because of the fact I study the full sequence and waited see you later for the tip, and the tip became genuinely a hundred% pleasing. I study the 1st dark Tower e book whilst i became an adolescent, and he wrote on the commencing up of the e book that it stands out as the 1st e book in a trilogy. in spite of the undeniable fact that, the sequence ended up spanning 7 books, and there became 22 years between the 1st e book being revealed and the final, and it annoyed me so badly that each and each e book became nevertheless no longer the tip!! yet... He wrote the ending of the sequence completely, and it made all the years I have been waiting so relatively worth it. The Stand and Insomnia are additionally very very very close 2d's. well-liked action picture hands down is "The Shawshank Redemption." I very own it and that i nevertheless watch it every time it comes on television.

The Shining, directed by Stanley Kubrick. I'm not sure why Stephen King didn't like it -- I thought it was eerie, scary and very well done.

The Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption. These are both great movies in their own right.

Not too many of his books have translated well into movies, which is a shame. He is one of my favorite authors.
