It would be 4 am because there is a 10 hour time difference.

cairo not Ciaro. cairo is 10 hrs ahead of California. so if its 6 pm and lets say its a sunday night in CA, it wud be 4 am monday in egypt. im in egypt now, its 2:40 pm monday 1/1/07 and CA is 4:40 am :)

It's really easy to calculate the time difference:
if it's 6pm in CA, then subtract 2 hrs= 4 and flip the pm to AM, so it would be 4 am
if it's 6pm in Egypt, then add 2 hrs = 8 and flip the pm to AM, so it would be 8am
just either add or subtract 2 hrs from the current time and switch the am to pm and vise versa.... that's the easiest way to calculate it! (that's what i always do)
