Chronologically he is an adult when he reaches the age of 18, however mentally/emotionally he might not be an adult until he's 108.

I personally know of a young man aged 14, that is very mature and dependable. I also know a man aged forty, that is so immature adults won't talk to him. He is normal, but raised under his mothers apron strings and never left.

OK women are in the same boat also.

So, to answer your question: It depends on the person.

i would say 21. for a girl i would say 18. a boys mind is 3 yeas LESS mature than his age.

18 by law ..but if he has a good mom .he will always be her baby and if youre his girl friend .when you have children .youre son or youre girl will always be youre baby.if he still act like a child .and this upset you .find some one else.that a man
