St Pete voted best in Florida for younger crowd. Within 30 minute drive tons of fun things to do. Lots of parks and still affordable prices compared to other areas. Better schools but you must watch district lines.

I like Sarasota. Gulf is gorgeous. Concerts, museums, artists and writers. Some of the Old Florida and Art Deco look. If Stephen King picked it, how bad can it be? lol

People are going to say their favorite cities.
If you want the places to party, consider So. Florida (Miami), Tampa or Daytona.
If you want to hit all of the attractions, consider Orange County (Orlando),
If you want peace, nice beaches and serenity, hit Ft. Myers, Ft. Walton Beach.
If you are looking for a continually growing city, hit Jacksonville.
