there is a product on the market called either manage or image, that is the only thing I've had any luck with. you have to treat nut grass at least two times. the first application stings it alittle, it will began to turn brownish yellow then apply it again. the stuff ain't cheap. but its the only way i know to control nut siege. don't pull the weed because every time you pull one up two or three will grow back in its place. it comes in a box alittle larger than a cd container and has a picture of a singe nut grass weed the box is white with the green picture in the center. mixing instructions are inside box. i cant remember if its called manage or image but its one of those.

Nut Grass would not propagate in line with say, the nut interior the final grass nut places out smaller nuts (seeds) next to the mother plant, you may pull the mother plant , however the extra youthful flowers will quickly replace her. Nut grass is a sort of pests grasses which will respond nicely to chemical components. There are somewhat 2 forms of chemical components that kill grasses one sort Will kill any plant it somewhat is bladed, the different will kill each and every thing it somewhat is leafed, or clover formed. you want to get the product that kills bladed flowers. Nut Grass will stress you nuts!

There is a product called "eptam". It's expensive so I only use it in flower beds. My lawn is St. Augustine, and if it's healthy and well watered, it will choke out the nut grass.

Good luck.....the emptam works but it's expensive to treat an entire lawn.
