My daughter was 9 lbs. 3/4 oz. and was born at 41 wks, 1 day.
I did not smoke. I ate pretty well, but I did eat fast food at least once a week. I gained about 44 lbs. I lost 15 lbs. after delivery and another 15 in the next few weeks.

My 14 y/o weighed 7 #'s 10 oz's at birth, I smoked, I only gained 1 pound, and yeah, I lost afterwards. My 13 y/o( got pregnant 3 mos after having my oldest) weight 5 #'s 15 oz's at birth, I smoked, and I gained 13 #'s, and lost it afterwards after about a year, and my 8 y/o weighed 7 #'s even, and I smoked w/ that pregnancy too, and I gained 19 pounds, which I didn't lose the weight and gained on it. With all 3, I had C-sections, emergencies w/ all of them. As a result, I have really screwed up stomach muscles. Of course, the ectopic pregnancy I had between my 2nd and 3rd child didn't help, and the hysterectomy I ended up having didn't help either.

My son weighed 4lbs, 15.6oz and was 17 inches long. He was born at 35 weeks due to me having pre-eclampsia
I smoked but no more than 4 cigerettes a day
Yes I ate as good as i could
I only gained 11 pounds due to throwing up non stop from the time i was 2 months til the day i had my son.
I guess i lost 5 pounds. You couldn't tell i was even pregnant.
My son was healthy and he still is and he is now 5 years old. He did not have to stay in the hospital when he was born, he was let out the same day i was. That was 3 days cause i had a c-section.

My daughter was 8 lbs 1.5 oz and 20 in long. I don't smoke and tried to eat right but defniitely did not... i didn't eat any of the atboo stuff like tuna or anything, but I didn't eat right. I was overweight to begin with and only gained 15 lbs that I lost by the time I was discharged form the hospital after her birth.

My son was 5lbs 10oz at birth. But his father and I both have small builds, so this was expected.
No, I didn't smoke.
I didn't necessarily eat "right". But I did eat frequentyl throughout the day. And I stayed away from most "junk" food. I tried my best to eat "good" things. The second half of my pregancy was pretty much just turkey sandwiches, bran flakes cereal, pasta noodles, and subway. All the carbs helped me gain weight.
I gained 39 lbs. But I was 20 lbs underweight when I got pregnant. So,l this was a very healthy weight gain.
By my six-week check-up I had lost half of my pregnancy weight. Now, eight months later, I am still 7 lbs bigger than I was pre-pregnancy. But since I am a small person this is good for me.

My first was 7 pounds 3 ounces. I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 19 weeks and I smoked until I found out. I ate pretty healthy and gained around 40 pounds. After I had her I gained 35 pounds in 9 months while I was dieting.
My second was 8 pounds. I didn't smoke and I ate as much as I could but I had extreme morning sickness and lost 20 pounds while pregnant. After I gained all 20 back.
I am 32 weeks pregnant with number three and have now lost 17 pounds because of morning sickness again.
All of my babies have been very healthy.

My son was 22 inches long and 8 lbs, 12 ounces. I didn't smoke, I ate right 85% of the time, and I gained about 40 pounds. Right after having him and going to my 1st appt, I had already lost 25 pounds. Remember everyone is different and depends on what you eat and if you're staying active, but also depends upon your genes. I'm pregnant with #2 right now and am trying to be even better so I don't have any extra weight to worry about! It's hard to get off those last pounds! If you're pregnant, good luck!

I was still smoking when I got preggers with the first, quit at 4 months and had a nice big 8 lb 7 oz boy. I ate whatever I wanted, gained 20 lb and lost it all at about 8 weeks post partum. I then went on to have a healthy 7 lb 12 oz girl as a non-smoker, but I ate a lot of fast food (Burger King loved me those 9 months!) and felt like crap afterward. I gained 30 lb and lost it about 4 months later. I had another girl weighing 8 lb 8 oz, gained over 40 lb, ate really well, and lost it at about 4 months post partum.

I was 35 when I had my daughter, she was 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and 21 inches long. I only gained a total of 25 pounds and lost it all in the delivery room. I was very active, working our farm and teaching severely handicapped kids all day. I ate right (the Doctor had wanted me to gain more weight, so I WENT FOR IT :-).....ate everything not fast enough to run away), but I did smoke 5 cigarettes a day. She is 14 now, beautiful, intelligent, passionate about important issues and will probably be the first woman president. (not very proud, am I?)
