I don't agree with people who say people on this site are shallow,stupid etc. There are many very funny & intelligent & kind people who regularly make me laugh. Despite some sarcastic remarks which are annoying, & some stalkers who are tracking my posts (scary, I deleted my question).

If anyone is "stalking" you contact the police. I'm sure Yahoo would provide any information that was needed.
Relating to not being able to get help with the stalkers.
1 Tell everybody that you trust about the situation.
2 Change your email address
3 Get on a "feminist" web site that gives "kick-***" info about stalking and what to do.
4 See if the FBI have info (via search engine) as they are the worlds greatest authority on the subject.
5 Bare in mind that only about 1% of stalkers are seriously dangerous.
6 Bare in mind that the vast majority of people on yahoo questions are on your side and would want to help. So keep us informed because it will be happening to other people too.
7 Bare in mind that any coward can send a nasty email, it is a very weak and socially inadequate thing to do. The most likely reason that they are doing it is because the can't influence people in real life so they choose this easy option.

Sorry but i have to kind of disagree, there are a lot of stupid people on answers, but equally true is the fact that yes there are a lot of people who make me laugh and i have seen quite a lot of people who seem to be very intelligent.
Personally i vary from ultra helpfull to downright horrible - its a mood thing, but yeah i too have various stalkers who thumbs down me all the time (like i give a rats asss), email me strange stuff - you know who you are! and one that went through a phase of complaining about everything i posted.
At the end of the day, answers is a bit of fun, occasionally a question will make me think and give a serious answer but generally its a bit of a laugh.

Just like in any community there is a whole spectrum of the kind of people in this site; there are jerks (sorry for the term) and there are also nice intelligent, funny people. But generally I think most people who take time and energy to share their views about certain issues are intelligent and nice.

Well, with every community, there are people of all kinds -- good, bad, nice, mean, kind, understanding, etc. And no one represents any one of these qualities forever or all the time. People change as time goes on -- nothing really stays the same. As my all-time favorite social studies teacher said, "Things don't stay the same. They change and move forward." There is really nothing anyone can do and that is sad, but what you can do is get this program, I am not sure what it is called, but it does a screen capture, you can down load it from cnet.com...It allows you to take a picture of the screen of your computer...and then save it to a file on you computer, before you delete it. Why? because if you just print it out, it cannot be used as evidence, because you could change things on it before you print it...The screen capture, you cannot do this with and it is a legal document if you have to go to court.

hey Eir I strongly disagree that people here are stupid .I think the internet has a lot to offer people who use it sensibly...problem is nobody wants to do it. so the inventor of the net had a vision. Freedom of info for all.

It's a balance on Yahoo Answers; sometimes the bad out weighs the good or the good out weighs the bad. Just remember not to give any vital information on line, and never be afraid to speak you mine, of course with grace and diplomacy and you'll be fine.

Everyone has their moments . whether they are "on" for a female when they do not care what they say and I have had a few of them on here but males are the same they do not get anything for a week and that makes them just the same
Many a female Tiggers are stalking me on this site

Universities can not count the points you get only the grade. They are not bothered by how close it was for you to get an A or if you were only 1 point away. The grade is all that matters, as shown in the UCAS Tarriff.

I'm living abroad so I'd be hard to stalk. Annoying people are easy to get rid of, just give them a thumbs down rating.
