The reason I ask though is I am having little sharp pains on my sides. No cramping or bleeding just little sharp twinges of pain and a dull lowerback ache. Could it be ligaments stretching already??? I will see my Dr. on Jan 9th, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has been through this. Happy New Year everyone!!!

your uterus is about the size of a softball. the pain you feel could be stretching. you will also feel slight menstrual like pains thruough your pregnancy, as you gain weight and your uterus stretches and prepares for giving birth. nothing too serious to worry about unless you start to bleed.

Yes. I was feeling the same thing a few weeks ago and I am only 10 weeks along. My doc said everything is fine.

and yes it could be ligaments streaching already
and yes talk to your doc about it.
