I am 35 weeks pregnant, And I know it's nasty but I dont want to call the hospital over every little thing I have 2 other children but I dont remember anything about a mucus plug I was induced with both children. Anyways I just came out of the bathroom and after wiping I just had continuous discharge that looked like snot coming out and it was alot. It is possible I lost me mucus plug and upon losing the mucus plug do you go in to labor shorly after i have never been through this like i said other children were stubborn and I have never experienced the actual labor by it self with out the doctor making it happen.

I go back to the doctor on tuesday is it okay to wait or should i call the hospital.

Yes you lost your mucus plug.Passing a mucus plug is a sign that your cervix is dilating and your body is starting to prepare for birth. Labor could be hours, days, or even weeks away as the cervix gradually opens over time. If the mucus seems normal in color, there is no need to contact your health care provider immediately. You may just want to let them know at your next visit.

it's possible it is your mucus plug. normally a woman loses her plug 2-3 weeks before she goes into labor, so you could still have a ways to go, or you could be going into early labor stages and soon into active labor. i think you still have a ways to go though, I am 35 weeks pregnant also and I haven't lost mine yet.

yes thats your plug and labor could have already begun or it could still be a ways off. sit and relax and hold your belly to see if you can "feel" contractions that your not feeling with your belly.

It could be your plug, but that doesnt mean that you'll go in labor soon. If you start having contractions, call your dr. but if not, tell them about it on Tues.

It most likely is, that is what I had too. I Think It could still be a while before labor starts.GOOD LUCK!=))

it probably is your plug. I would get checked
