Eucalyptus oil, if you are able to obtain it where you are (I'm in Australia so its readily available here), is a great natural way to remove sticky residue from many things. I've used it for many different surfaces, including your skin after you have had a sticky plaster (band-aid)on for a while, jars that I want to remove the label from etc.
