You can probably start with Rogaine, but the one thing I was reading about the product is that you have to keep using it for the rest of your life, or else the hair stops growing in the bald spots, and it may start falling out again.
You should consult a doctor about this.

Studies of this medicine have been done only in adult patients, and there is no specific information comparing use of topical minoxidil in children up to 18 years of age with use in other age groups. Use in infants and children is not recommended. If you think your child has hair loss, discuss it with the doctor.

Take him to a doctor, or try bosleys.
Rogain only works when it is being used....once its stopped, hair goes bye bye.
There has got to be a reason hes losing hair this early, best to find out why.
