Why bother? Six years ago I smoked for Britain (three on at a time...YES!!!) and suddenly said "No more" - and stuck to it - to this day. Yes you CAN stop. Just say NO - it works. If I (underlined!) can, ANY prat can!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The patch helped me quit after 20+ years of being a 1-2 pack a day smoker. I am so proud of myself! It's one of the most positive things I've done for myself in a long, long time! Good luck!

I gave up 7 years ago. The patches really help you in the first few days. After that you don't need them as the addiction has begun to wane.

if you use ziban tablets you can still smoke for the first 5 days and then must not smoke at all after then, you will find by taking ziban the cigarettes will give you a nasty taste, smoking cessation clinics will tell you and its true it was given to inmates in the usa prisons and found that the these tablets were helping inmates to give up smoking, they were supposed to have a calming effect.
