Bush is better by far than Kerry. Kerry doesn't have the stones to stand up to anybody. Bush is far from perfect, but with Kerry, Saddam would still be raising hell. The economy has struggled but Kerry would have been much worse for the economy. I voted for Bush.

With bush 6 years into his presidency, the answer is much clearer now,Kerry! We now know how Bush had and is running our country, and we now see the costly mistakes in my estimate,so of course Kerry! I voted for Kerry!

Jeff P! You made one of the best points possible. It's flat-out insane that people are calling Kerry a traitor after (as you said) he VOLUNTEERED to fight in Vietnam while Bush was playing hooky in the National Guard.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Kerry fan, and I don't necessarily think that his enlistment was a good idea, but I am still incredibly frustrated by the fact that a draft-dodger challenged the war record of a decorated veteran and people bought it. Unbelievable.
EDIT: For those of you who think that Kerry was a traitor because he spoke out against the war upon his return: Maybe you should pick up a history book sometime. Getting involved in Vietnam was one of the worst foreign policy decisions the United States has ever made. The fact that Kerry spoke out about it makes him a patriot, not a traitor.

Bush. But did you know that Bush and Kerry are actually cousins? 14th cousins, they are.
Bush has two Presidents in his lineage. His own dad, and Millard Fillmore of the 19th centuy is also one of his great grandfathers-on his mother's side. Bush has the Presidency in his blood.

Kerry by far. He's more honest, as far as I can see. I didn't vote because I am not a US citizen.
Those who tend to really run him down do so because they are pro-republican and Kerry is democrat. However that is no basis for rejecting someone.
If I were an American Citizen I would be, in many aspects, in the left-wing part of the democrats, probably. And yet I can respect a man like Reagan (although I abhor what he did with the Contras) because he always seemed to act out of sincere conviction, and because he loved his country.

Well let's see ; 3000 of our " best and brightest " lost in Iraq . Many more thousands maimed and wounded . Very poor pay and benefits , for Soldiers , and their Families.
Bogged down in a no win situation that a third grader should have been able to for see.
I won't say who I think is better . And I'll let you guess who I voted for !

Bush. bush has honor dignity and courage and knowledge of this country. Kerry is a traitor. The funniest thing I've read was where that little weasel went to Iraq a couple of weeks and none of the soldiers would sit next to him. All of the commanders said they had other VIP's they were working with and didn't have time for him. He was totally shunned. Yeah......that speaks volumes. The give Hillary the same cold shoulder too by the way. they know who is their friend and who isn't.
