I'm 12 right now, and when I was between kindergarten to now, I had all of the sims 1. It was wonderful! I admire Will Wright and all of his work that has gone into his games! I like the new sims 2, but the sims 1 just has a touch that nothing else has. I just love it.. it's a very nice game, worth every penny into it. I had the sims vacation, magic,pets, stars, hot date, deluxe, double deluxe, party, and of course, the orginal sims. Does anyone else admire these games? Anything to share..Please, don't burn this question..no rude comments please..

The Sims is one of my personal favorites. I really got hooked to it, especially if it was one of the many expansions. But, my most favorite was The Sims Vacation.Why? If i don't like the look of the vacation place, I'd edit it immediately according to my own desired look.Have you tried editing the place? The Sims 2 is also great, but it's very complicated and I get confused sometimes and our computer can't take it's requirements.By creating a lot of houses, I enhance my creativity skills.Killing those Sims could be sad, but I admit that I really enjoy ruinging their lives especially if their already very annoying.By the way, have you tried The Sims Complete Collection? Heard it was great.Hope you're happy knowing that there are still others who admire The Sims.

I love love love the first sims. I have vacation, pets, hot date, deluxe, party, etc. They are amazing and great. I actually find myself occasionally playing them instead of Sims 2. I just found they ran better and were so awesome. I never had magic expansion pack, but I keep looking at it and am thinking of buying it.

i sure do..i played it a couple months ago. it was my travel game, i put it on my laptop. i would have been playing it more recently..but i installed this thing to edit a Sim's sign and relationship all that stuff...and it messed up my game. it goes to the neighborhood then quits. i am told i can fix this but this means i have to lose all my people. its like they died. i dont know if i can bear to play it again after that..its not the same creating them from scratch. they had such good relationships w/each other, i just cant bear to start over.
i miss playing with the pets..something happened to one of the discs. and now i cant install it.

Well...I have to agree. i had all of the expansion packs too and I loved them. I am collecting the Sims2 as well. The first sims opened up a gaming world that I was not familiar with and I enjoyed it. No other game will ever top these, in my opinion.

I still have the original Sims. The one where you only have a few lots and you get to live with Bob and Betty Newbie or the Goths.

yes of course i was just playing them lol... um i love them there cool the sims 2 is just more advanced i too have the whole delux pacage.....thats all basicly just saying that i remebe lol and still play HAPPY NEW YEAR
