I highly recommend "A Great and Terrible Beauty" and "Rebel Angels" by Libba Bray- they are thoroughly absorbing and very, very well written. The first book focuses more on the horror/ magical side of the plotline and the second focuses on the lead character's forbidden romance, while mixing in the magical plotline.

Not all of books in this massive collection of books are "forbidden love" type, but the Forgotten Realms is a very good collection of books that continues to publish more books today. Many excellent writers wrote books for the Forgotten Realms series.
The Forgotten Realms is basically fantasy/adventure genre with other elements like romance, sensuality, and all of that stuff, plus there are some scenes of nudity in a number of the books.
I wrote a story that's short (but not called a short story) with "forbidden love." It's not obvious at the beginning, but you'll get it more you read. If you don't know about the series called "Naruto," you may get confused (see http://www.leafninja.com/intro.php if you don't know what "Naruto" is about). You could try Dean Koontz. There is some romance in his novels, but mostly it's very well written suspense/horror. The Servants of the Twilight is pretty good. Older, but good.

If you like horror and romance combined and have already read those books, you should try your hand at Laruell K. Hamilton. Her books definitley feature forbidden love (and often sex, although not too graphic, until her later novels) along with fantasy/horror creatures like vampires and faeries. Her writing is very good, suspenseful and brilliant. I myself prefer her Meredith Gentry series, but she got her start with Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, and people still really love that.
Whatever you choose, happy reading!

I recommend anything by Nora Roberts. She is such an excellent writer. I decided to see what her books were like about 2 months ago, and now I am hooked. They are so addicting. She wrote alot of Trilogies and quite a few single novels. The only one so far that I haven't liked was called Divine Evil. It had too much stuff about devil worshippers, I ended up having nightmares....lol. But yeah seriously, try them out. You won't be disappointed.

I would suggest Peeps by Scott Westerfeld or Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz.

I'm not familiar with any of the books that you mentioned...but you might enjoy The Time Traveler's Wife. It's quite briliant...a good love story but with quite an interesting twist to it.
